Halsall is a THS which is held each year and only a few miles away from Southport. It is a 12 night meet and in the morning there are music and craft workshops and each evening there is a variety of entertainment in the school hall which can consist of dancing, games, quizzes, singing, music etc.

Allan and Ann Smith led us a lovely walk starting at the Village Hall and walking through the Hoghton Tower estate and Hoghton Bottoms. It was a crisp sunny day and we had our lunch sitting next to a wall by the side of the canal with the sun shining down on us - a great feeling.
