As we were in Wales it was suggested we have a Male Voice Choir so Kellett rehearsed them and they made a good job of singing Men of Harlech and All Through the Night

A photo may just arrive in this space as I had forgotten my camera and Allan Smith asked a couple who were walking nearby if they had a camera to take a photo of us at the Druid's Circle (just after we had danced naked round it!!) and then email the photo to me. Well, you don't get anywhere without a bit of cheek do you. He said they had had a flood and his computer was out of action but he would send it to me

WHITTINGHAM SPORTS AND SOCIAL CLUB - 23/25 MARCH 2007

ASTLEY HALL COLLIERY MUSEUM - 9/11 MARCH 2007

The building houses the largest steam winding engine ever used in the Lancashire Coalfield. We had a slide show and guided tour of the museum	The steel lattice headgear for Number 1 Shaft is the only colliery headgear remaining in Lancashire.
Jeff and Sue Farmer led us a 6 mile walk from the site Jeff, Sue, Bryan, Janet, Bob, Susan, Stephen	We had a Jacob's Join tea on Saturday

WHEELTON - 19TH NOVEMBER & BREDBURY - 3RD DECEMBER 2006

Steven Wallwork led us a nice walk from Wheelton. We had our lunch in the woods	Judith organised games in the afternoon at our Christmas Party at Bredbury

As will be seen they had wonderful weather for the NFOL	Rain Macs were issued in Goody Bags!!

Kel and Jean celebrated their Golden Wedding at the meet and supplied wine, nibbles and cake	We had an enjoyable Domino Drive one evening
The weather was gorgeous for our coffee mornings	Bob relaxing after making a brew
Fred Fearon did an entertaining bread baking workshop. Members brought along a bowl and Fred supplied the ingredients and showed them how to mix the dough, and they were able to go back to their vans to let the dough prove and bake in the oven	Playing with our dough - looks like I have finished playing with mine!
Jeff Farmer led us a walk from the site to Thurstaton Country Park	Having a rest on Kellett's walk which was followed by ice-creams and lollies

	Edith, who is at the lefthand side of the photograph, lives locally and offered to take our members a guided walk. It was an enjoyable walk with lovely weather.

Walking in the sunshine on Friday in t-shirts and shorts - how can the British weather change so much - see next photo	Walking the same weekend in fleeces and waterproofs although Geoff must be made of stronger stuff than the others as he is in his shorts
	You can just about see our caravans on the site at Hollingworth Lake - a lovely walking area. We had twice as many caravans the day after

EASTER AT TYTHERINGTON, NR MACCLESFIELD 13-18 APRIL 2006

Craft Sessions were held each morning, including Pergamano, Easter Crafts and Calligraphy	Learning how to do Iris Folding cards

Geoff Errington led a five mile walk from the site (well 5-ish!)	An opportunity to play music together
This was a great room for coffee breaks as people had the opportunity to chat across the round tables	We had an opportunity to dance to a band most evenings apart from concert night
Dancing is fun and good exercise - also exercises the brain! Jenny Webster did North West Morris Dance workshops	Before everyone indulged in the cheese and wine
An Easter Egg Competition was held on Sunday	More Easter Egg Entries
