There are many talented members in the Folk Group and they are happy to pass on their knowledge to other people in craft sessions. Below are some photos of a display of craft items made at a large Folk Group Meet

Music is also very popular among Folk Group members and workshops are regularly held, and people have an opportunity to play in the band. You are never too young to learn!!

If you haven't used all your energy dancing, singing, playing music and doing crafts there is often an opportunity to go on a guided walk

EASTER MEET 2003

April 17 - April 22

The National Easter Meet of the Folk Group is the highlight of the year and is attended by Folk Group members from various parts of the country. In 2003 it was the turn of the North West Section to organise the Easter Meet which was held at Lytham. We have many talented members who volunteer to pass on their skills to others, and below are listed some of the activities which were on offer.

Music Workshop

Musicians in the Intermediate Melodeon and English and Anglo Concertina workshop, which was led by Pete and Nicole Mac at Easter 2003.
