Bolton-by-Bowland is a lovely area of the Ribble Valley with nice walks from the site and views of Pendle Hill. Visit the market town of Clitheroe and the nearby Pendle Witch villages. Also the Trough of Bowland is within easy reach. Large field, part sloping - no hardstanding. There will be a dance on Friday and Saturday in the village hall which is within reasonable walking distance but uphill on the way back.
