with good walking, although we had a heatwave so it wasn't really the
best of weather for walking. |

MIDDLEWICH 16TH TO 21ST JUNE

Harry Caine rehearsed some songs with our
talented members and we enjoyed their performance of them at an evening
social in the hall on site. Only just managed to get Harry in at the
left-hand side |

Out meet at Middlewich coincided with the
Boat and Folk Festival so it was very interested wandering around having
a look at all the boats and watching the different activities |

adults of course, with his dolls. |

We could watch the Red Arrows plus other
aeroplane demonstrations from the comfort of our caravans courtesy of
the RAF. |
The helicopters landed in the field next to
the campsite
|

We were able to make use of the cosy lounge
in the Backpacker's Barn at Tal y Bont for a couple of coffee mornings,
and also one evening when they were out on the mountains all night |
.
We set off for a walk up Tal y Bont and the
weather was OK down below, but the wind was really gusting on top and it
was rather wet. |

EASTER AT BICKERTON
We had a lovely walk up Bickerton Hill along
the Sandstone Trail on Good Friday with the sun shining on us. From left
to right Roy, Martin, Sue, Bob, Jackie, Jean, Carole, Erroll and
Vivienne behind the lense. |

What bad timing on this walk as the weather
was fine all day apart from about five minutes after we had sat down to
have our lunch so we sheltered, to a certain extent, under the trees and
as we finished lunch it stopped raining!
Vivienne, Carole, Jackie, Martin, Sue,
Judith, David and David and Tina with their three lovely children
Catrin, Megan and Joseff who are 4, 6 and 7 and walked about six miles
on two occasions. Bob behind the lense. |
